Teak is a heavy, hard and sturdy type of wood. The high content of natural oils makes it highly resistant, perfect for functional everyday items in your home such as household articles and furniture. As the wood is untreated the surface will patina and change color over time into a beautiful silvery grey. To maintain untreated wood, it is a good idea to use sandpaper (grit 120-150) once or twice a year.
